Key Benefits

The Color of Us offers children aged 2+ a thoughtful first conversation about the many shades of human skin. A spinning wheel, an inclusive skin-color rainbow and a clever opening for adding their own hand or arm make the ideas personal, visual and easy to discuss.

This product can help little ones:
• Notice and talk about the variety of skin colors around them
• Recognize their own skin tone as part of the book's rainbow
• Build respectful vocabulary for describing similarities and differences
• Practice finger control while turning the interactive wheel
• Answer simple questions and connect the pages with people in their own life

A welcoming interactive board book that supports warm, age-appropriate conversations about identity, belonging and the world around us.
