This is a unique book that really pops out and has a lot of useful words. It contains five large, pop-out pages with a lot of labeled drawings of various creatures and things. It says for ages 0+, and my baby was interested in looking at it for a moment, however I have to be careful or he could easily grab rip it. I currently like it better for my 3 and 5 year old kiddos, so that it can help them to learn to read and increase reading vocabulary. Plus they can open and close the large pages independently and find it fun to do so. I am happy to add this book to our library.

Much cooler than expected! The listing photos didn't do this gorgeous book much justice. Each page is a giant pop out, filled with bright, artistic objects that are labeled. Perfect for doing an I Spy game. Our kiddo absolutely loves it! He is starting to realize that the letters on the page say something, so he likes pointing out the words and copying how to spell it out loud.This book would likely be best for toddlers and preschoolers, as the durability of it is not as strong as a typical board book is. Even just coming to us, it ended up with some marks and dents.

The book itself is well made and can provide a lot of learning, especially for the price. There is a ton of content on each page with lots of colors and animals to look at. The nature of this book folding as it does is a potential tearing concern with grabby toddlers, so we keep this one for supervised reading only. Recommended.

This book is so cute and was instantly a kid favorite! My 7.5 year old enjoyed reading the words, and my 6 year old and 3 year old loved looking at each picture and folding out each page. My 1 year old mostly loved turning the pages and watching as each page unfolded. It's a very well made book and feels very sturdy, and the images are very cute.

Gorgeous illustrations and a really unique pop out feature. My nephew loves it.

Sturdy feeling board book with vibrant, glossy, thick, pop out pages. The themes of the pages in the book include animals, different types of transportation, around the farm, things around the home, and the outdoors. I don't think I'd recommend for toddlers in a grabby phase as I do think they could damage or rip the pages where the creases for the folds are, but overall, it feels tough and can withstand curious, little hands. My son loves the bright illustrations and I love that each picture is labeled to practice letters and spelling.

Every page folds out!! My toddler loves this! When you turn the page it automatically folds in and the next page folds out.

The popup book was really nice and engaging for my little girl. She really enjoyed looking at the different pictures, especially the animals, and naming them. The book is very sturdy so even when she played rough with it, the book is still holding up really well. Definitely a great purchase.

This is a very cute book that my kids love to look at! The pages are a bit tricky for my 6yo to fold up properly sometimes but my older kids have no issues.

Little dude (2.5yr) ripped it the first time he opened it, though we were trying to be gentle with it. We were able to tape it, but have to keep a much closer eye on him when it's out.

This is not your typical pop out book. Each page has the entire page fold outward in one unit. It is a lovely book and well made.

This is such a cool book. I have a 2.5 and 4 year old and it's really perfect for both of them for different reasons. My 2.5 year old likes looking at the pictures and naming the more basic things and my 4 year old likes naming the more difficult ones and trying to sound out/read names. The pop out part is really fun and unique! My only complaint is that it is very tempting for them to destroy (they destroy everything. If you know, you know.) so it's a book that we use with supervision so it's not torn up. This would be a really fun gift for anyone with babies or toddlers.

This is a really nicely made, but very very simple, pop out book. Individual images/scenes don't pop out like with a traditional "pop-up" book, instead the pages open up to show a bigger spread them fold back down into place when you turn the page. Each spread has its own theme and an assortment of images and what they are. Some word choices are interesting, like "basin" instead of "sink" or "bird" instead of "nest." Overall a good book for toddlers and pre/very early readers.

Basic but really cool and well thought out. We use this specifically to teach our young one the names of things. She will point them out and we tell her what they are, then later we can ask her where is the Giraffe and she will point at the giraffe! Great learning tool for the young ones.

What a cute picture book! The colors are bright and really pop off the page, just like the page pops out at the reader. Littles will love the way the pages explode and are filled with all sorts of words to learn. This is great for babies to toddlers - you can teach them words then they can point them out to you as they get older. There are a lot of words to explore and they're all at just the right level. There was only one word that I found "weird," ice cream van instead of ice cream truck.This is a great gift or book for your shelf!

What a fun book! I wasn't sure what pop out meant. I've read tons of pop up books but not pop out. I was pleasantly surprised to see how the pages exploded open and were filled with fun colorful illustrations. It's a perfect book for young children and keeps their attention with the bright colors but can also be used to learn new words. Highly highly recommend.

This book has large intricately folded pop out pages (not a pop up book). Each page has a specific category and accompanying illustrations, e.g., vehicles, farm animals, etc. We like to use this book to play"I spy with my little eye" with my almost 2.5 year old. Also good for younger toddlers to help increase their vocabulary.

I love the HUGE pop-up pages/posters, but the art leave a lot to be desired. I think the illustrator tried too hard to distinguish itself from "regular" animals or objects and it just becomes too abstract for my little one to figure out what those things are. I'll give it a solid 4 stars, but the art can be better.

Overall, I absolutely love this Pop Out Mega Pictures book from Make Believe Ideas. While the book itself is relatively short, the large popouts garner a lot of attention from my two-year-old - and it takes at least twice as long to get through compared to other books with a similar number of pages. My daughter has ripped popouts from more traditional pop-out books (those with multiple small popouts per page instead of these large "entire page" popouts) and, while I'm sure rips are certainly still possible with this book, the larger popouts don't have the same weak corners that small individual popouts do. The cartoons are adorable. Very happy with it!
