Adorable little board book! I love the bright colors and different textures. The pages themselves seem strong and I think they will hold up well. The illustrations are charming and there are fun little details to point out on each page. This is one of my favorites in The "Never Touch a..." series. I felt like I a lot of the other books, although the pictures are wonderful, the rhymes sometimes felt forced. Not so with this one!

Absolutely love this book! It’s such a lovely story and we have a pet axolotl so it’s nice to find a book for our baby that we can relate to.

These books are the best for curious and book loving babies! My daughter has loved these since she was about 3 months old. The sensory details on the pages as well as the colorful and bright pictures always spark her attention! She loves touching the different textures. There are so many variations and categories of books to choose from! We have bought quite a few and she is still loving them at five months. Would highly recommend.

This is a fun book to read with my 8 month old grandchild. It is fun to read with lots of variation in excitement level, tone and volume on each page. The different textures on each page cause a good amount of interaction with the child.

This was a birthday gift for my great grandson. He loves it. Very sturdy book. Good for small children
