We love the Never Touch A series of books. We've got the ones with sea creatures, bugs, and other animals. This ghost version is perfect for this time of year! The pictures aren't scary, and the little poems are funny. My granddaughter is 3 now, and still completely mesmerized by all the textured "touch me" bits in the book.As always with these books, the quality and durability of the pages is excellent. They are a thick cardboard-type material, and the different not-spooky characters are very strongly enmeshed into the pages. You can get rough with these books, and they don't disappoint. If you get slobber or other liquids on them, wipe quickly. The glossy coating will deter a lot of liquid and moisture, but not all.We love Halloween, and finding this book was a great surprise.

This book has a fun touch and feel texture on every page- I’d say perfect from 6 months to 3 years (even my 3.5 year old who is a bit old for board books was loving the touch and feel part of this book). It’s a quick read, perfect for younger kiddos and shorter attention spans. I have read other of the “Never touch a” series and they’re always a hit- this is no exception! There’s not a story line or plot to this book or series, they’re just feel good short stories which help kids learn to enjoy reading.

My daughter is 5 and loves Halloween. She also loves Halloween books which we read year-round so whenever I see a Halloween book that looks cute I try to get it for her. This one also has pages that you can touch. This is great for younger kids but my 5-year-old loves it as well. She interacted very well with the story and being able to touch all the cool textures on the pages and she said she really enjoyed the book. I highly recommend this for any young child because it is fun and it's a cute story.

My toddler and I both absolutely adore the “Never Touch” books and read them over and over again. She loves to touch all of the pages and listen to the adorable rhymes. So when I saw a new Halloween book was out, we just had to have it. “Never Touch A Spooky Ghost” does not disappoint! Each of these books brings so much joy and engagement. Just like the others, this book is full of charm, vibrant and whimsical illustrations, and those irresistible sensory textures that make reading feel like play.This book is so adorable and perfect for Halloween. The illustrations are just so much fun and the puns even made me laugh as a parent. It’s such a fun way to get children excited for the holiday. I also love that it offers an opportunity for parents to introduce children to the various things they may see during the Halloween season in a way that isn’t scary.What I love about these books is that every page invites little hands to explore. The tactile elements are high quality and thoughtfully placed, and our daughter loves them. The rhyming text is silly and sweet, perfect for reading aloud and giggling together. These are books that become any child’s favorite and that also captivate and entertain adults. It’s everything we’ve come to expect from this series. They are just so much fun, interactive, and beautifully made.I think sensory books are a fantastic way to capture the attention of little ones. Books with sensory opportunities keep babies and toddlers engaged and allow them to participate in a story before they are able to read. It allows parents to teach concepts and words in a fun and easy way and also enhances fine motor development through the use of sensory play. The “Never Touch A…” books do such a brilliant job incorporating textiles into books. Many sensory books have textures that can either be ripped out or destroyed. These books feature a high quality rubber like material that holds up to little hands and can also be cleaned. They are by far the best sensory books I have ever used and they hold up so beautifully.Even though it’s designed for Halloween, I know this book will be pulled off the shelf all year long. If you’re already a fan of the “Never Touch A…” books, this one is a must-have. And if you’re new to the series, it’s a fantastic place to start, especially if your little one loves sensory play and cheerful storytelling.

This board book is an adorable Halloween gift for the baby or toddler in your life. The illustrations and story are colorful and cute. There is a textured piece on each page so that helps to keep the little ones engaged. It’s a nice, sturdy book that will definitely stand up to toddler play. It’s definitely a great alternative to candy and lasts so much longer.

We already have the books for Tiger, Dragon, Dinosaur, and Panda. This one does not disappoint. The tactile pages are great and have fun designs. The story rhymes just like any other in the series. I thnk the best ones we have are Dragon and Dinosaur, then this one, followed by Tiger and Panda.

Amazingly cute and fun little book. It has different textures throughout and the story is really cute. I love the way it holds up for little hands and it is easy to read for early readers.
