Payment Policy
All payments taken from the sale of goods at makebelieveideas.co.uk are carried out via PayPal. Make Believe Ideas do not take credit card payments directly, but you can pay using a credit card (including Visa, Mastercard, Maestro or American Express) via PayPal.
If you do not have a PayPal account, do not worry – you can pay with your credit or debit card even if you don’t have a PayPal account. Just click ‘Proceed to Paypal’ and follow the instructions on screen.

Product Costs
All products and shipping costs are listed inclusive of VAT (where applicable). Most books are zero rated for VAT in UK but any additional items (pens, necklaces etc) or stationery items, games etc may be taxable. We have various mixed VAT codes applied to each product. You can contact us for a full list of mixed vat rates.
If you are VAT Registered or a Sole Trader and require a VAT receipt please contact MBI through our contact us page or by emailing enquiries@makebelieveideas.com.
Delivery Costs
You can receive free UK delivery on all orders over £20. This would use our Standard Delivery service where orders are dispatched within 3-5 working days and delivered 2nd class. Please allow up to 8 working days to receive your order. Standard Delivery on all orders under £20 is £3.95.
We also offer a Next Day Courier service on mainland UK orders placed by 2pm, which costs £9.00. If selected, mainland UK orders placed by 2pm will be delivered on the next working day. Orders placed after 2pm, over the weekend or on a bank holiday will be processed on the next working day. Before completing the delivery address, please make sure that someone will be present to sign for the package.

Returns Costs
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can send it back to us (using a tracked delivery service) within 14 days. Cost of return postage is the customer’s responsibility. For damaged items, Make Believe Ideas will issue a full refund.
